My 3-yr boy loves Gordon and I found this one to complement other HO trains. My boy was so excited to go from his wooden Gordon to this HO model train. But positioning any HO scale model train on the delicate tracks is not an easy task for toddlers (unlike their wooden Thomas trains). So, I removed the front and back wheels, and left the middle 3 pairs of the wheels, which made it easier for my toddler to maneuver it and position the train on the tracks. The coupler on the Gorden’s tender did not work with my other HO trains from Life-like Trains. I needed a little tweaking with a mini screwdriver to make it work, but it did work and Gordon can pull other trains behind his tender. My boy loves watching Gordon pulling all other trains. Overall, a lot of fun!!

One of my favorite Engines of all time, hurried home from work every day to see if it had arrived even before i knew it would. The model was a lot bigger than i thought it would be which made me extremely happy. This model is worth every penny and every minute you have to wait for it.
